  • Leading the content strategy for Motorway Pay — an industry-first billing and payments solution that enables dealers to make instant payments for cars they buy on Motorway.

  • Creating a content design system from scratch that's now paired with the product design system.

  • Solving complex problems for different users, across multiple teams, with clear, concise and compelling content solutions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners in product and engineering, as well as business stakeholders. Upskilling teams on content design best practices, and accessible, inclusive language through workshops and guides.

  • I built a brand and business that successfully empowered young people across the UK through creative writing, receiving glowing testimonials and referrals.

  • My first-ever one-day workshop at London Academy school received such positive feedback, that they invited me to develop it into a six-week after-school programme.

  • I was invited to design and facilitate workshops for prestigious summer school programmes at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

Summary: I led a team of six in devising and executing the marketing and content strategy for the UK’s largest, international student film festival.

Highlights:

  • Under my leadership, our team's marketing and content strategy contributed to the festival's most diversified submissions list. We received submissions from filmmakers from all over the world - with successful outreach to more marginalised, under-represented communities.

  • We broke the festival's records for high rates of attendance and greater press coverage.

I achieved a 2:1 overall. My final year dissertation was awarded a First Class, and is a deep dive into the literature and folklore of Zora Neale Hurston. It makes the case that her work re-imagines the distribution of power by democratising and diversifying routes to knowledge.

UX Content Collective 

A professional certification course developed by experts at Google, Amazon and Intuit. Modules ranged from voice and tone, writing for UI components, auditing content and usability testing.
